  • The Louisiana Marine Mammal and Sea Turtle Rescue Program (LMMSTRP) is
    a volunteer organization based out of Audubon Aquarium of the America in
    New Orleans. If you encounter a live, or dead beached marine mammal or
    sea turtle call (504) 235-3005 and give a precise location.
  • The Institute for Marine Mammal Studies in Gulfport, MS is prepared to
    take animals from the entire region. If you encounter a live, or dead
    beached marine mammal, including Dolphins and Whales call: 888-767-3657
