Lloyd St., Meeting Room 101, Pensacola, FL - Sustainable Gulf Coast invites you to join us for a talk on the recent "State of the Beach" Report. The oil trend study was conducted by the Emerald Coast chapter of Surfrider Foundation and University of South Florida coastal geologist Rip Kirby. Results of the study, released in April 2012, show continued high toxin concentrations in tar product found on Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi beaches. Guest speaker Michael Sturdivant will discuss the findings, the ongoing testing, and the mission of the Surfrider Foundation.
